Visiting Professor

Zajel invites visiting professors to come to the campus of An-Najah National University in order to present their perspectives and point of views in front of the University's students. There are many topics that the visiting professors can present; they vary from the mass media to fine arts, history and all the humanities to issues on development, politics to music and journalism and languages, lectures, workshops and any innovative ideas regarding these areas are seen as incredibly valuable and would come very much appreciated from all of An-Najah.

This project encourages the international professors to come to Palestine and interact with the Palestinian faculty and students, exchange different perspectives and create a mutual understanding between different cultures and backgrounds.

We do hope that through such a project we can break the cultural restrictions imposed onto us by the Israeli siege, this siege that stops both our students and our faculty members from maintaining normal communication with international universities and doesn’t allow us to reap the benefit of worldwide academic developments and partnerships.
