Palestinian Media Efforts in the USA
The Palestine Media Unit of Zajel orga nized
a workshop for the visiting professor Mazin Qumsiyeh who made
a presentation on the biased American media and the efforts of
the organizations that are working in the USA in order to
change the image of the Palestine Question in the Americans
mind. He spoke about the importance of passing the message
from Palestine in its social and humanitarian sphere. A
discussion followed the workshop where students and faculty
members of An-Najah discussed with Prof. Qumsiyeh the current
image of Palestinians in the American media and especially
after the events of September eleventh 2001.
